Hi all

We received a letter in the post yesterday confirm that we had been selected from the pool on 15th September. I knew this already from having looked at the web page.

The letter was postmarked Singapore. Can I infer from this that we are being processed from Singapore? We live in Switzerland so I kind of assumed that we would be processed by the UK NZIS team.

Where did your letters come from?

Ours was from Singapore aswell. No idea why, it must be where the letters are automatically sent out when you reach the pass mark and are selected. We are waiting for our ITA which I assume will come from either London or Welly.

NZIS advised us today that, altho we are now in NZ, our case will be processed from London, our resident country.

And yes, our initial letter was from Singapore too.

Aah, ok. Thanks for the replies.

My wife just pointed out that we got selected on the 29th and not the 15th. I guess it just seems like longer than 2 weeks ago! The waiting is the hardest part. It would be nice if NZIS had a queuing system that was visible on the web, eg:

"You are 9,879th in the queue. At the current rate of progress, we antipate your EOI will be validated on August 20th 2007".
