hi all, after the NW meet and talking to Daz and Wendy and trying to read all the previous posts on the forum I thought I would create a poll of the companys to actually get a quote from......


and if there are any I havent mentioned that I should get a quote from - please let me know.

I've voted for Brittania. Right from the very first phone call I made to them - up to them delivering the container, unloading it, placing furniture and taking away all packaging they were 110% brilliant !!!!

We mucked them around (unintentionally) and changed dates 3 times - due to house sale problems - and they were great, didn't even bat an eyelid. I can honestly say that not a single thing - absolutely nothing - was broken, damaged or harmed in the slightest way.

I would use them again any time. We used the Brittania branch at Wolverhampton.

GB Liners for me... simply because they did exactly what it said on the box and everything arrived as it left the UK, couldn't fault them, they packed, they wrapped and they stored it, then shipped it on request, and it was all arranged from NZ too. Even NZ VanLines were great and we used them to move us from Chch to here.... *shock horror* I think I'm their only satisfied customer on here though....

GB liners for us too ,apart from the MAF scam ,which we refused to pay ,said we would pay them direct [still havnt received the bill she whispers !!]

I think Brittania ia a franchise, though thanks for the tip regarding the Wolverhampton branch, as they are not too far away from us in Shropshire.

We are also looking at Allied Pickfords and Crown.

Who was the Agent at the other side for Brittania?
