It has been about 12 months since I last logged onto ENZ after hubby lasted a month in NZ and came home. I was on a total downer and felt that my future had gone(how dramatic am I !!!!!!). Anyway that's a long story which I won't bore you with.

We have decide to start our visa plans again and have been told that we have to make a whole new application(we still have 14 months left on our current visa's but hubby's is for the previous employer).

Has anybody been in this situation before ie, realised that they had made a real mess of things first time round and wanted a second chance?

If you do have to apply again do you think that our mistake will go against us?

Any advice would be appreciated

Hi Joanne, Yeah we did the big turn around in October of last year and like you I felt my "future had gone". Anyhow to cut a long story short I still want to head back but OH is not so sure. We are planning a trip over in 2007 to activate our visa but from then on it's really in the lap of the god's (and my wife) as far as a return is concerned. I know this is not answering your question but I thought you may like to know you are not alone in your feelings.
