After 16 months we have just receive our passports with two blue stickers with our Residence & Returning Residence Visa. I could have hugged that mail man :p

It's been a very stressful time of late and we did wonder if we would make it as we were given Approval in Principal back in June with a deadline at the end of December, which our Case Officer extended by one month as the NZQA were struggling to confirm Keith's qualifications.

When our assessing officer in NZQA went on a months leave for January, we thought we were done for - however, as luck would have it we were allocated a Geordie who knew Keith's qualification and assessed it to meet our deadline.

Keith also had his interview for the NZ Air Force last week, which we think went quite well, we won't know about that until the end of April.

In the meantime however......... champagne at the ready cos we're definately celebrating.

Watch out NZ - here we come :exit

We had chosen either Blenheim/Marlborough or Palmeston North, both of which, coincidentally, happen to be where the air force bases are... :)

we would hope to be there around July this year.
