Maxine Little was our case officer, although someone in LA did our interview. My only contact was through email and the messages were always short and polite. Once we were approved in principle, she expedited our visa's because my wife received a job offer right after our interview, which was extremely helpful. Our application was very straightforward, so can't really comment further.

Thank you foolsgold99.
Actually she ask me to go Washington DC to have my face to face interview. I went last monday and now I am waiting for the decision. John Ducan did the interview but I was told that the decision still be made by Catherine Beath through the London office.
foolsgold99, did she gave you PR and how long it takes?

They all sound like great people. Has anyone has a bad experience (no need to name names)?

A twist on answering your question about 'bad' officers, noobie:
I know of one case -- not ours, and I'm naming no names -- whereby a forum pal of ours had a case officer who seemed to be quite a challenge to work with for many weeks... but who turned out to be a strong ally to our pal as the application progressed. The officer turned out to be helpful and patient about allowing our pal to get all their application ducks in a row re. third parties being awkward about providing documentation.
So even an officer who isn't immediately very friendly or encouraging can have priceless qualities. :clap

knx-
you had a face to face interview? I'm trying to figure out if that is the new standard, as it seems to say in the ITA paperwork. Most people on this forum have reported phone interviews, but I can't figure out why some people are asked to do face to face.

Yes, I have a face to face interview. They asked me to go to Washington DC. I asked if I can have a phone interview but I was told that London office requested a face to face interview so I do not have a choice but to go DC and have my interview.
