Something that I have brought up before.......why do some of you guys have no info in your profiles. What great secrets are you harbouring........ I often find I go to answer a question and think "hmm where are they from as the answer may be different" only to find no information in the profile. Come on, share a bit.

I'm shy and paranoid people would think i'm a nutter or something or talk about me behind my back, so don't give away too much.
Now i bet you all will anyway.

When we first went on this site, we hadn't told anyone of our plans and Craig's work had no idea. He didn't even want me to post at first because he was sure someone would work out who we were!! I think some people are just a bit wary about giving away too much about themselves when they haven't got anything firmed up.

That's exactly like us,only family know of our plans at the minute.
Just feel we might tempt fate if we tell everyone yet,but would love too though!!

I have to admit, in all the time I've been a member of this forum I've never looked at anybody's profile. Does this make me a bad person?

its mainly re. the location. I only look when someone asks a question that the location is relevant to, as its no good telling someone about this fantastic removal company in the north of England if they live in the states or holland. Assuming that they are being straightforward with their questions and want a similar answer.

Would love to add lots of details but am crap at IT. Took me ages to get registered as kept messing it up and I don't know how to put a signature at the bottom - you know that thing where people put cryptic comments like 'life is not a dress rehearsal' etc. (please don't anyone tell me how to do it, it will only disturb my mind, i'm already trying to learn lots of new systems at work that is blowing brain cells by the minute). i can't even put a smiley face or banana on my posts.
am grateful i'm on this forum at all. for me that alone is a miracle. My work told me today i have to have a mobile phone - really pee'd off, have avoided that gizmo for years.
as for info, i worked in public health management, have 2 kids age 10 and 7 and partner who is a service engineer. i love tea (particularly yorkshire tea) and lived in Northants before i came here. I hate TV - not just NZ TV but any TV.

I must admit I was a bit wary of putting any personal details, even where we lived, but after seeing how warm & friendly & open people are I did put the basics.
I have just updated a few other details, but basically I'm about to be 46 (yikes !!) Keith is 42 (43 this year - note catching up with me :p )
Amongst other things he's a sports/massage therapist. I'm in IT/Financial Services but am also an holistic therapist, i.e. Reiki/Crystal etc.,
I have an 18 year old daughter who's not sure if she's coming with us (although she has PR too) Keith has a 13 year old son who lives with his mum in the UK.
We have PR (:) ) and hope to be in NZ mid this year :exit
