Hi there, yes we have only 44 days till we leave this cold and snowy country for 5 weeks touring NZ!! Everything (campervan, flights, the odd hotel etc...) is booked, my bank is empty .....!!
We're visiting NZ with a view to emigrating - earlier postings give a little more detail - but i'm interested in finding out about anything worth seeing/visiting that is'nt that well known, or is not on the tourist routes. We're quite flexible as we intend to see/do as much as we can fit into our 5 weeks! Arrival date in Auckland is 15 Apr leaving 19 May 06. We intend to go travelling to the North/North East/East of North Island for a couple of weeks, then move down to South Island for andother couple of weeks, going down the East Coast and back up the West then finish with a week on the South East of North Island and back to Aukland!! Im sure you understand the route!
Anyway any ideas or suggestions to make our holiday a holiday of a lifetime would be most welcome!!
