We are looking through our EOI and come to the family members section, how far back do we have to go?

I have a very large family and my mother was from a large family. Do I have to list all my nephew & nieces and/or cousins as I don't know all my cousins, I will struggle with nephew & nieces as I've lived away from my immediate family for many years and not seen them.

I was an aunt before I was born and a great aunt by the time I was 21, so you can tell how much trouble I would have completing this section.

Can anyone shed any light on this please.

I hope I've read it wrong and its just sons & daughters, that will be easy as I have only the one...

Thanks ever so

Hi Keith & Debbie

We are also filling in our EOI and we thought it would only be immediate family so we only put parents, brothers and sisters....

We hope this is all as surely they cant expect entire family histories.

Good luck .....maybe let us know what happens as we have to wait a wee while to submit as I am awaiting certification on some qualifications.

Hi,

Not sure exactly what is right/wrong, but happy to share what we did, our EOI was selected into the pool on 15Sept :nice1

We went for: Hubby - parents, brother, sister (not aunts, uncles, nephews, sister inlaw); Me - again parents, brother, sisters - including stepmum and step siblings. And then ofcourse our daughters.

We decided not to go the route of extended family, as we're very close to many of them. However, had they lived in NZ we would definately have mentioned them!

Hope this helps a little in making your decision.

Best of luck

Thanks for this information. I will go down the brothers/sisters route - although I might need an additional page for that :?
