Everyone,

When you submit your ITA do they update your status online? Meaning right now my status when I log into the NZIS page says Decision Succesful, whill this change to Approved in Principle or Denied after they process my ITA? Or do I need to call and check on the status?

It should change to Application Received, and then after that they usually don't update the status online, even after you get approved for a visa. After the ITA is received you'll eventually be contacted for an interview (or for more information if there's some problem). They also send out a letter letting you know they received it, but in our case, we didn't get that letter until two weeks after we had already gotten our passports back with visas inside!

they change it eventually...but by then you may have got your blue stickers...ours changed roughly a week after getting the letter, and the passports back
