Hi all,

We plan to sell/get rid of practically everything. We'll only be taking what we can carry.. the rest - 2 bikes, kids toys, 3 PC's, extra clothes etc will go via air freight as we don't want to wait weeks for it to arrive.

Anyone used a normal "parcel" type company to send stuff ?
eg. UPS, Fedex.. whatever...

Regards,

Dorian

I asked our UPS rep at work about this one, and he said that it would be possible, and to work out what I wanted to ship (IE pics and box of ornaments) and that if i used the works account i'd get the discount.

havent worked out any pricing out yet, (will post when I have) but have you tried...

I am looking to send my golf clubs out to Auckland. About 12 kg with parcelforce costs 89 quid. TNT were over 400 and ups prett much the same... looks like parcelforce are best.

Yep funnily enough Parcelforce can be cheaper most times. although the royal mails idea of 24hr delivery is a farce "a parcel is not deemed missing for 15 days"

ha ha...just cant work the logic on that one :D
