Last night we eventually found the track that takes you to the top of Wharite - the highest peak around here (Ashhurst Manawatu). Although the sun was setting and it was abit hazy the view was amazing.

Ruapehu & Tongariro in the distance - we could also see Taranaki, Kapiti Island and the tip of the south island too.

After being told 'you can't take a picture into the sun' I reckon this one turned out OK.

We left the track just as the sun was setting.

Just looks as if you are looking across the Cheshire plains from Frodsham Hill:laugh
Looks really stunning Diny, and yes you can take pic's into the sun, you just have to have the right setting, and angle...well done.

I was starting to think I was going abit (more than usual) loopy.

I have abosolutely no objections about any of my threads being moved, it's just that I can't for the life of me understand why it's been put in this category.
