 Just started the night shift and not looking forward to it.
On the up side we had a great time at the Expo on Saturday. Too many people to see and not enough time. Anyway, had good feedback from Cv's and should be getting some replies pretty soon, fingers crossed. :hopeso Tonight if all goes to plan I should be going through the shed loads of paperwork I was given. Some very nice and helpful people there. :nice1

I agree Bubbles, heaps of glossy mags and stuff to read over the next few weeks. I spent the afternoon browsing through the Bayleys real estate brochures and wept at all the gorgeous properties I can't afford to buy. I bought the book "Where to Live in Auckland" which looks really good and has some really useful info.

The wife looked in the Baleys books too. The scary thing is she keeps on doing it :eek . Nice property but a bit expensive for my wallet.

Yes, we just got back from a brilliant weekend in London. The expo was great and the kiwi folks were just so helpful and enthusiastic ( i know its their job but even so the attitude was infectious) We spent the rest of the weekend feeling like we could do anything! Even after six hours in the Science Museum I still felt relaxed and layed back.

We got there as soon as it opened and within 15 mins we had met 3 majors and a guy from Napier was taking my phone number to give to a potential employer.

Anyway, back to the waiting game now, but with renewed hope and strength.

Cheers

Phil

No worries, I you were anything like us you were too wrapped up in the whole thing to think about socialising. We left about 11.00 and by then the queue was halfway down the road outside, so we were pleased to have made some contacts got out.

Keep in touch

P.S.

My kids got about 100 pens and stickers each so they think NZ is the dogs b****ks!!

My kids ended up with loads of Kiwi sweets and lollies

Yeah, we spent ages at the North Shore City Council stand stuffing our faces with "lollies". Pineapple lumps were not as I expected, I was thinking Pineapple Chunks, but no they are more like the foamy bananas we have but covered in chocolate and twice as chewy. Yummy!
