Anyone recommend a reasonably priced and child friendly holiday rental anywhere in or around Welli that would make suitable temp accomodation when we first arrive until we find a rental?

Unfortunately can't recommend a holiday house. We only stayed in a hotel for three nights.

But have a look at www.holidayhouses.co.nz , we've used them before and they were really good. Also www.bookabach.co.nz are really good.

When are you looking at coming over, if it's during the winter some owners should be willing to negotiate a good weekly rate.
