Hi Everyone
We arrived on Tuesday after a slightly traumatic flight from Singapore. The kids had both been unwell in Singapore and Cameron decided to throw a temp in the middle of the night so I spent most of the 91/2 hour flight sponging him down and trying to get him to drink dissolved paracetamol in juice (he wasn't having a bar of it - sensible lad!). Certainly got alot of attention from the Air Stewards/esses - they popped by to check on him regularly. Funny little guy that he is he just smiled and chatted the whole time while feeling like he was burning up  . When we landed we had to wait for the plane to empty and have an airport paramedic check him over and clear him to leave the plane (they were concerned about us bringing bird flu into the country  ).
We finally got through passport control, baggage claim, MAF, customs, x-ray machines etc to be met by my family. :raebanana Yayyyy!!
We have been busy dealing with two children who haven't coped well with different time zones (party at 2am anyone?), buying a new (second hand) car
http://tinyurl.com/hnsqq (http://tinyurl.com/hnsqq) and mobile phones, catching up with family and looking for jobs (Mark has two interviews on Monday) and housing (checking out the open homes tomorrow!). Can't believe we've only been here three days - it feels like so much longer. It really is great to be home. Still alot of things to sort out, and to get used to but it is all starting to slot in. I did shock myself the other day when I realised I'd referred to the UK as 'back home'! It's certainly going to take a while.
Oh well, must go and get a couple of hours sleep before the midnight madness starts again.
