hello everyone just thought we would let you know we move into the house at cambridge on 26th march. We were able to arrange the gas <electric telephone and broadband connections over the phone in 10 minutes at the real estate agents office , no references required and only had to fax a copy of passport to phone people. and i took a carrier bag full of references just in case ,did i feel silly!!. Cant believe how easy it all is . Kids are starting school on 27th . Uniforms have bankrupted me (3 all at once and school fees) but never mind there worth it, schools are wonderful gave us a royal tour,very friendly. Feel like i belong here already :D

You were lucky being able to do all of that at the Real Estate place. It's exciting though, isn't it? We move into our rental on 1 April (could have done it immediately but we're committed to the holiday let till 4 April). We need to sort out phone and power in the next week or so - who are you using?.

Agree re uniform - the kids started school on Monday and I can't believe how expensive the uniform is and how traditional! It felt really strange the kids starting school - made us realise that it isn't a holiday - it's real life!

I'm glad it's going well for you - I can't believe how many of us have landed around the same time. Did you ever sort your house sale out? Keep us posted.

Hi Guys

It all sounds like it's going swimmingly at the moment. Good to hear :nice1 . We're off to check out the daycare centre that our kids are likely to go to. We have a place for Gemma but it'll be some time before they'll have a place for Cameron. Fortunately my sister is able to help out a bit with him so I can still forge ahead with sorting out work. We're going to look at a couple of rental properties today too - will report back afterwards.

It's amazing how fast things are moving - it feels like we've been here for alot longer than a week.

Hope to catch up sometime - keep up with the updates.

Hello everybody we are living pretty central in cambridge and would love to meet up with any of you in the vicinity. Our house sale in uk is motoring through apparently the buyers are chasing the solicitors to hurry up. so hopefully we will have proceeds for when dollar hits 3 to the pound that will be nice might buy a new car with proceeds. Will have our own computer next week and broad band so many pictures will be available from next week you will get sick of seeing them ,.
