Hi I recently bought a modem for broadband use (BT Voyager 2500V), will the same modem work in New Zealand? I had a look at the ones on the Orcam site and they look exactly like whats available in the Uk.

Our UK one works along with our BT telephones, cordless and corded. :D
You can get them free too when you sign up for BB here.

Ours worked too, although the ones TNZ supply seem to be better able to cope with poor lines.
When we first got here we rented in Rangiora for a while and lived about 500m from the telephone exchange. We signed up for BB and got a free modem, but as I had brought two over from the UK we used those and they worked fine.
We then moved out to Oxford, first surprise was we could actually get BB as we are 6km+ from the town and the normal phone line has an extremely loud hum (all the electric farm fences around here). The BT BB modems did work but were a bit hit and miss. I tried the TNZ modem (a d-link) and it works perfectly every time.
