Done a search on here but only find a couple of mentions about aerosols, so have to pose a question to you experts to see if you can help!!

Kev (my OH) has a load of aerosol cans of anti-spatter, (used when welding) he said today 'I might as well take them with us.' (we'll need 20 forty footers the way he's going!!!) I keep telling him half the stuff he wants to take won't be allowed but he pooh pooh's me! I know the shipping companies will advise when we get to that point, but if we can't take aerosols, he might as well start selling some of the stuff now when he's doing the car bootys.

So help needed please - can you take aerosols in the container or not? (and i'll make sir read the replys for himself!)

I would email MAF/Customs as ask them about specific ones, they are good at answering questions.

Aggree with Jub Jub - but would also just add to make sure you keep copies of the reply if its favourable. Give one to to the shippers at your end - and keep at least 1 with you to give to maff/ customs/ and the shippers at tihis end.

Just in case they deny all knowledge :nice1

Did you get any movement on this? I thought that all cans were banned, as they are all explosives and so mini bombs, but would love to hear if anyone has managed to get any in.

Thanks,

Emily
