Does anyone know anything about Wakefield? we missed it out on our south island tour.
Having decided to settle in the Nelson area,Richmond Stoke etc.We wondered about this town.
Any info on whats there,schools,shops etc would be welcomed.The property seems to be a bit cheaper there but if its a ghost town that may be the reason.Does anybody live or work in Wakefield? Thanks, Angela.

Passed through Wakefield when on holiday however we did not stop stayed at a camp site in Richmond. As far as I could see going through Wakefield not a big place. I live near near Wakefield in England, mega in size compared to NZ Wakefield. Infact Wakefield just looked like one main street on the highway. Houses did look nice though.
