I've stayed at the Jet Inn & our organisation use it for anyone staying in the Auckland area overnight - very comfortable, reasonably priced and very handy to the airport - easy to find after a long flight!

We swear by the BK Pioneer Motor Lodge, it's 3 mins from the airport, free 24 hour curtesy bus. Very clean and tidy rooms, everything you need and a reasonable price.

We've used in a few times and will continue to use it - can't recommend it enough.

Jameelka, off thread..sorry.... but just wanted to say "wow, you guys have moved quick!!!" Was only a few weeks ago it seems that you were asking PMing me asking about schools etc and coming over on work visa to job hunt. Great to hear your flights are booked for May, and again you are not hanging around are you!!!! I really do wish you all the best - it's an exciting time (and stressful, no doubt about that) but you have a goal and you are going full steam ahead. good on you!!!

keep us all posted! hannah

Hi Hannah,
Well we decided to go for it,although this trip is just for a look, but to be perfectly honest I can't see us coming back and saying we did n't like NZ!more than likely just the opposite! We are quite well travelled, been to Aus as well as many other places.
Plan is for other half to have a few chats with potential employers,as well as having a look around on our limited time of 2 weeks!
House is still for sale here,so quiet on that side, and as soon as it's sold if we are all happy with the move then we'll just go for it job offer or not!
Bit scary bit also exciting.
What we don't want to do is put it off,and regret it years from now.Even the kids are well up for it,and so is the dog!!!! (no choice!!)
Will keep you all posted!!
Thanks agian for everyones help, this forum is soooooooooo good!
