I hear some of you talking about HIFX

Can you tell me in your experience what this entails?

Do you have to open a HIFX a/c in UK before leaving and then one in NZ - or do they send it to a nominated a/c in NZ????

Help me please!

I opened an account with Hifx yesterday.

I am still the UK but will be in NZ next week and I expect to be mobile for a while.

The NZ sign-up process seemed easier e.g. they do not ask for certified copies, just scanned and emailed them what they wanted, I gave them my UK address.

I still have to open an NZ Bank account and will probably do that on my first day, together with getting the postbox.

My next step is to transfer some money to them, and they can park it for me until my NZ Bank account is open.

Hopefully, someone else who has more experience of Hifx may be able to add some tips regarding process etc.
