Just got a letter from NZIS london APPLICATION FOR RESIDENCE :APPROVED IN PRINCIPLE (subject to payment of migrant levy) We had a couple of docs outstanding and only sent them in 8 days ago!

I dont know if this means PR or WTR they just say they will issue 'Residence Visas' when we submit our passports, but hey i've been dying to use these anyway :raebanana :raebanana :raebanana :raebanana

Well done!

One month and a few days for NZIS to sort out ITA application and approve it! Is that some kind of record?

Assume you have a job offer?

Gee thanks guys. Every time i look on here and see loads of congratulations to someone else i always think its nice- but to see them aimed at yourself is a real special feeling which i didn't expect - so thanks to all :nice1
Yes we have a job offer, and the lady at NZ house told me unofficially there are two streams within their office, those with job offers (priority) and those without, which they leave for 10-12weeks before processing, so maybe that explains the timimg.
Now for the minor details, anyone wanna buy a three bed semi in Nottingham? :laugh
