So the time has eventually arrived. :clap
This week we loaded our container and waved farewell to all our possesions.
Next time we see them will be mid May in port Chalmers.
Tuesday morning it's off to Heathrow and onto NZ via a few days in LA and a week in Hawaii. :)
The last few weeks has been quite stressful and an emotional roller coaster ride the likes of which I don't care to ride to often! I guess it may continue for a little while to come. :no
So we are now really looking forward to it and it can't come quick enough!
I must admit though that it still seems a little surreal, like it hasn't fully sunk in yet!
We wish everyone else the best of luck and promise to keep in touch when we can.
Regards to all

Having just returned from a week on Maui, all I can say is,
Bring your slicker :D
It has been raining almost every day for the last 2+ months and the islands are a bit "soggy" (but warm and still wonderful)! We looked at it as a good intro to NZ weather!

Aloha,
Yes it is true it has rained here (Hawaii) almost everyday since Feb. 19. But after our 3 inches in 4 hours this morning, it seems to have finally broke. You should have great weather when you come. Sunny, highs around 80F with some nice tradewinds. Enjoy your first stopover in the nation of Hawaii, before continuing on to our Polynesian friends in Aotearoa! Here's a pic of the beach in my town.

Ooo' a stop over in Hawaii, I hadn't thought of that before. Best start dropping hints to OH now.
Best wishes for your trip over and the start of your NZ adventure.
