Hi folks,
Recently I got the outcome of pre-assessment of Qualifications and they said:
Pre-assessment Result:
On the information available, the New Zealand Qualifications Authority
(NZQA) assesses this qualification as comparable to the learning outcome
of a qualification at Level 10 on the New Zealand Register of Quality
Assured Qualifications.
How mayn points can I claim with this result?

I have just asked a colleague who is a qualified assessor in UK NVQ's and the highest level she has ever come across is Level 5. Could it be a typing error? Hope this helps.

I think the maximum points you can claim is 50 for L4+ plus an extra 5 for a degree?

No, it is not a typing error. I have a PhD degree as well as Expr. They told me it is equavalant to NZ doctorate:

which is the highest. But I am wondering how many points can I get for this level?
Anyway, thanks all for reply

Level 10 is possible. I could have had it as well, but if you read my prior messages, you'll see that I asked to be assessed at Level 9 so I wouldn't have to go through their testing procedures. Then again, my situation had to do with what kind of teacher I wanted to be ... long story. Anyways, level 10 is possible, and based on work experience, you could get more than the 55 points you're entitled to, But, deal with NZQA on this, and make it clear what you are looking for, otherwise they will misinterpret and do what they think is right or what you need according to their opinion, which is not always what you want.

you will find the max. level is 10 and NOT 12 as you said.
Anyway, thank you all for contribution, :nice1

You are right. The things were different three years ago. At the time they use to give the same category level 12 for all postgraduate degrees M.As and PhD...now the sistem seems to be more fair
