Age question:
I turned 55 last week. Hold 3 post-graduate degrees, each in "long-term skill shortage" areas.
I'm expecting USPP and Visitor Visa process to take 5-6 months (to NZ Sept/Oct '06)
Assuming that I acquire a position offer - say by Jan/Feb '07 - and my 56th B'day is in late March '07 - how would this be likely viewed?

Medical question:
What blood and urine 'tests' are they running - what conditions are they screening for? - everything and anything possible?

Sorry, I don't have any answers for you, but have you tried discussing your concerns with one of the NZ Immigration Service's US advisers? I asked the guy in Portland some questions a while ago and he was very helpful.
