In this forum I have seen that all of you talks about shippment from UK. I am wondering if anyone have an idea about shipping from Germany?? I have not much stuff to send, but about 150 to 200 Kg.

I found it on a general google search, but it looked quite useful. I would imagine that there would also be some removal companies in Germany that undertake international removals.

When shipping however, it is not the weight that is important but the volume of your goods. You will be charged by the cu foot or (metre in Europe?).

Exactly, the most recommended one is Bobe.de - you'll find it on the website which is recommended by Dabbi (hallo Dabbi :clap )
Currently there is also someone in the forum who wants to share a container to Auckland, I don't know how much space you need?

have you searched for freight companys? if its a little amount you may want to try an excess baggage company.

we had our first estimator around....for our meager belongings......

5x 50cm square boxes, 4 book boxes (19x20x23) and 4 pictures around 70cmx50cm he said it was about 60cubic ft!!

durrr??? dont think so...I recon we will be sending it by cargo bookers.....

8 boxes and Cargobookers offers free standard packing boxes.

1. Constructed of a thick cardboard.
2. Carton dims : 50cmx50cmx50cm. ( approx 2ft Square )
3. Max recommended packing weight 35kg each.

they quoted £240....so I am whittling the stuff again......I may get it all down to 4 boxes! :nice1
