Hi Jump
I've checked on the BNZ site and they have job descriptions but no salary.
If you want to look at the site here https://careers.bnz.co.nz/safelink=JSSAJOBS and tell me what looks the equivilant, I'll see if OH can find out for you.

Salaries
Salaries vary, but bank managers usually earn between $50,000 and $90,000 per year depending on their particular management role and the size of their branch.
Outlook
Outlook: Good
The outlook for bank managers is good and the number of people employed in this occupation is expected to remain stable or increase moderately over the next two to three years. Changes within banking sector
Between 1990 and 2000, the number of bank branches in New Zealand decreased because of changes in the banking sector. These changes include banks merging or changing ownership, cost-cutting measures and new technologies. However, in 2002 the number of branches increased significantly mainly because KiwiBank opened 280 branches, and ASB and TSB opened new branches (Developments in the Banking Industry, Andrew Rodgers, Reserve Bank Bulletin, June 2003).
The recent take over of the National Bank by ANZ created fears that branch numbers would again start to decline. However, ANZ has said it will keep both bank brands for the foreseeable future (Birth of a Banking Colossus, Paula Oliver, New Zealand Herald, 25 October 2003). Generally, there has been a settling down of the banking industry and the general perception is that the branch network is stabilising.
Longer opening hours
Some branches are located in shopping malls and as a result, they have started opening longer hours and during the weekend. This trend is likely to continue when new branches open; therefore bank managers may have to start working weekends and late nights.
Turnover low
Turnover among bank managers is low. For those that do remain in the role there are some opportunities to progress further within the bank.
