Anyone know about shipping a child's quad bike ? :confused: We've just had PSS shippers round to give us a quote and he said we will needa permit as it is classed as a vehicle. Anyone used PSS ? :uhoh
By the way - we got Approval in Principle yesterday :nice1 - it's all pinned on my getting Teachers registration !!!! Whee !!! We're on the way, :exit

Is it a low powered one? There is info on the LTNZ site http://www.landtransport.govt.nz/index.html

Not sure about the bike, but I asked the same question about PSS on the shipping section and the response wasnt too great, check it out, usual story seems to be get plenty of quotes and research as much as you can!
Could you let me know about the Quad bike if/when you find out as we have one as well!!

Jane,
Just had White's shippers round and he gave us a lot of info. you have to pay half of cost of bike as import duty plus fuel tax etc so we've decided not to take the thing even though our little boy only had it for Xmas ! Will probably try to sell it on ebay.
By the way PSS said we need a 40ft container and White's said we could use a 20ft and group the rest in a shared container so saving us something like £1500.
