So here we are at last!

Arrived in our new home yesterday.(A motel for the first few weeks)

We flew from hawaii to arrive at auckland and they wouldn't let us land! Too foggy. So we flew down to wellington, landed there, re fuelled and flew back up to Auckland 2 hours later. OK to land this time. Waited 1.5 hours for a connection to Dunedin which 'put down' on route, guess where? - wellington of course! So then we finally arrived at Dunedin we had already had a whistle stop tour of NZ.

We have been lucky with all the flights.

London to LA we had an exit seat on a 747 which was like 2 yards of leg room.

LA to Hawaii we somehow were put in economy plus with an extra 5 inches of leg room.

Hawaii to NZ we had another exit seat!

Auckland was sunny and about 18 C when we arrived.

Dunedin has a little toy town airport! Was sunny and 16 C when we arrived. Been sunny all day today and about 16 C.

Spent all day today exploring the area and looking for a place to rent.Not found anything yet.

Lots to think about and do at the moment. It still really hasn't sunk in yet!

What a frustrating last leg of your Journey.. but you are here! Hope you find your feet quickly and get yourselves settled :cheers , have to admit to not noticing any fog round here, but the airport is close to the sea..

What a load of hassle !!!!

Not what you really want at the end of a long journey is it ? Hope you enjoy Dunedin -I've visited a couple of times & found it to be quite a nice place .
