Hi everyone,

Was just wondering if NZIS is very strict with medical history. You see I was diagnosed with diabetes (based on hereditary) a couple of years ago but with medication and proper care am now very normal person(based on my HBA1C test). Will they penalise my application (my wife is the main applicant) and refuse me my PR.

Hi Voth

You will need to get confirmation of this but as I understand it, an "illness" such as yours, which is easily kept in check by medication and lifestyle etc, won't necessarily go against you.
