I know that I haven't posted on here much but I'm just soooooooooooo excited!

I just checked on our NZIS page and hubby's work visa has been granted today! :raebanana :raebanana :raebanana (I've been dying to use those!) Now starts the hard work, hey? We've sold the house but not completed yet, hopefully soon though.

Mine and our 2 daughters' visas should be following soon - we just need to wait for a medical report from the surgeon who operated on our oldest 4 weeks ago, we'll then send it off to NZIS and hopefully we'll get our visas soon.

So..... Auckland here we come! :exit

Hi.

WOW! I just looked at your timeline for work visa and it looks like it only took a few days!

I am in Auckland with a job offer etc etc and have been waiting for 5 weeks for my work "Permit".

Did you submit all the docs in UK or in NZ as I wonder if there is a massive difference in timescales?

Bruce, we are in the UK still so it may well be that the timing is a lot quicker here. I hope you soon get your permit - can you "nag" them?
