FOUR SHINY NEW RESIDENCE VISAS :raebanana :raebanana :raebanana
One step closer, just got to shift this house and we will be off. It seems so long ago that we first started out on this road, and yes, there have been many heartaches, discussions, arguments, tears, tough decisions. But we are at a stage in our lives that something will give very soon. So this is our chance to start afresh, the chance to change our lives in a positive way.
So, thank you to all on here who have helped with advice, and been a part of the NZ ride of your life.

Great stuff Steve
I would post dancing bananas for you but don't know how.
Please don't anyone tell me how - your efforts will be lost on me. I see IT instructions and I switch off. I kind of enjoy not knowing now, gives me a sort of sick satisfaction knowing that my 70+ year old father knows more about email and internet than I do! (Gives my dad a bit of a kick too!)

Steve and fam
Congratulations.
We are right there with you, came back from our hols late Saturday to find a post card saying there was a parcel for us to collect. We knew what it was but had to wait till Monday to get our hands on those passports.
You are so right, you do feel so different having them in your hands, we waited 5 months to pay the levey but now NZ feels imminent.
I was going to post on Monday to say how impressed I was by the size of these visa, but it seemed so daft, but realy Im dead impressed that after all those tears, the stress, and £ they are substancial 2 page hologram included stickers. I would have felt underwhelmed if they had been the usual small inky stamp that you get when travelling.
All the best with the house sale, share any tips you have for dealling with estate agents, Im fighting the urge to throttle ours.
Here's hoping we can get to NZ before the start of the school yr.
Congratulations again.

Thanks guys, we sure will be keeping the updates going. As far as the dates are concerned, they were stamped yesterday, 25/4, so we in effect "gained" almost 2 months due to one of our passports having elapsed and the renewal taking longer than expected, the case officer also went off on holiday, providing more delay, suits us fine though.
And like you Debbie, we delayed everything for as long at possible, max time for ITA and levy in order to gain as much time as possible. Seems to have worked up to now, just gotta flog the gaff and we'll be reasy :nice1

Hey well done TA!! No clean sheet though Kim! tut tut :no
Well I have taken another step, valuers here next week, so got off my behind as you said, taken action at last :) Amazing what a blue sticker and a positive date can do to you ins't it?
Got a load more junk out, binned some yesterday, local tip will be busy with some of the stuff I been saving in the back and down side of house - good timber, aerial masts, loads more radio equipment to sell, so at least some of it will come good.
See you later
