At long last the date has moved forward to the 4th of Jan. We submitted our paperwork the 6th of Jan so should get allocated a case officer next week. (I say SHOULD!)

My question is, how long between getting a case officer assigned to you and having an interview was it for you all out there? Am I looking at them getting in contact in the next couple of weeks…..or is it still going to be ages? :confused:

Sorry but I don't understand the first part of your post regarding your dates but we went the SM route and the first time we knew we had a case officer was the day they phoned to arrange the interview. Most interviews seem to be within a week of contact and you get your answer about 10 days after that.

ours was a week.....they say patience is a virtue.....but they didnt say anything about making us virtuous!.... ;)

don't worry, the phone will ring at a time when you are not expecting it and then you'll be stood there, after the call with yuor head ringing....and your mind numb...then the fun begins!

I'm impressed. Things are speeding up for sure now! Our application was lodged March 1.

Was the interview yesterday (April 28) or is it next Friday?
