Hi guys,

I am wondering about the regulations regarding PR. If one get it and travel abroad, is it still possible to keep it and claim for citizenship after 5 years, or should one come to the country each time period. Cause in some countries, permanant residence become invalid if one leaves the country for a period exceeding a certain time.

I believe you have to be in NZ atleast 6 months out of every 12 to keep your visa rolling.

Do you mean staying in NZ 6 months each year or just come (maybe for few days) in and leave every 6 months?
