Who have you booked your flights with? we are looking and can't decide if we need the extra baggage allowance you get with Air New Zealand.

Flying with Malaysia to Perth (visiting friends), then with AIRNZ to auckland and then to Napier/Hastings :)

A chap at flightcentre said if I flew Singapore Air he could get me 40kg as far as Perth and *possibly* as far as NZ. He phoned Singapore Air and they confirmed 40kg, but in the end I decided that, as there are 4 of us, 20kg is enough and the thought of paying for excess baggage from Perth to Nz just seemed ridiculous! Not sure I'd get the 40kgs each into our friend's car in Perth anyway! I booked with Expedia in the end anyway as the man at Flightcentre was adamant that Royal Brunei are a better airline than Malaysia...when I had the Skytrax page open in front of me at the time!
