Is it common to get jobs offerd tru internet in NZ , i cant imagine this here in Belgium. Dont most people want to interview you in person ?

There are several participants on this board who have lined up jobs vith no in-person contact - just email and 'phone interviews. So obviously it can be done, even without a work permit.
My experience when dealing with large firms and agencies is that physically being in NZ helps a great deal, and having the appropriate visa upfront helps even more. Both are signs of commitment to the move to NZ. The standard response is, "Get in touch as soon as you're here [NZ]."
(Personally, I can't imagine taking a job without meeting my future colleagues - They're not just interviewing me - I'm interviewing them at the same time.)
