Well today it finally did .....after being here 5 months ....we finally bought a BBQ ..... :raebanana

Everyone else in the shop was looking at heaters and dehumidifiers and there was us snapping up a bargain .

Sooooo might have a BBQ party soon. :cheers

WTG Marie and Dave!! And why not buy things when they are bargains, that is what it is all about. Looking at some beautys in Costco yesterday - stainless steel monsters- already emailed Costco HQ to ask them to open in NZ :)

I really miss Costco ,we used to shop there so much .[now I'm remembering their muffins and mince pies :wah ]

Ooh Costco cakes were FAB! (yeah I know again with the cakes, I have a problem!)

Have fun with the barbie, we started to enjoy cooking on ours, but the weather is a bit cold for parties now we have got the hang of it...., typical :roll Have fun with it.

Is it one of those big ones that you can use as a roasting oven too?? If it is I guess Dave is now cooking the roast every sunday! :nice1 As we all know men love barbies..

Talking of Costco - emailed them yesterday, they replied. They have their people out looking for property all over the world, and while there are no plans as yet, if you all email them, keep banging on about NZ, then maybe we can just jog them into looking seriously at the place :) Lets start a campaign :laugh

And got some lovely cakes yesterday, Almond Tarts - like a Bakewell but with an almond sugared coating on - absolutely gorgeous!

Yummy, Costco cakes *sigh*. Marie, well done on joining the BBQ crowd. Where'd you get it from? Is it an all-singing, all-dancing model? Mum and Dad roast chickens on a spit on their one (and they taste soooo yummy). We move into our house next Friday, somewhere on the shopping list is a BBQ!!
