Can't get on to the Farmers site at the moment so don't know the price on there but in the local smith city the upright was about $700 a few weeks ago so while Pete was in the UK he went to argos and got one for 149 pounds. (less than $450) and brought it back with him. (air New Zealand so had the weight capacity)

It was $849 for a Dyson Animal Cylinder, which was only about $100 more than we just paid for ours (£249 in Currys).
