Hi,

The only thing you really need to have on your luggage tags is a name and contact. I prefer to put my email address but you could put a moby number.

If you are worried about the airline's tags coming off or something, the easiest thing to do is just put a date and flight number on your luggage ticket (for each flight).

We were on a RTW trip last year and just had our name and contact. Thankfully nothing went missing, but if it had done, we could have checked our email and got it sorted ASAP (no point in putting a home address if your not going to be there, not to mention security issues).

I'm packing to at the moment....you may want join your local Free Cycle group, to offload some of your junk...ahemmm unwanted treasures ;)

If you mean the little tags things that come with the case? I tag ours with a name and contact number and inside have a sheet of paper with names, contact address and phone number (usually 1 mobile and one landline, say our parents).

The ones the airline put on when you check in are practically indestructable.

And make sure you can distinguish your case from everyone elses, saves time at the carousel. :clap

Its not a bad idea to put your name, email address and destination airport inside the bags as well.

We sort of did this - we had little stickers on the inside of the lids with my parents details on so at least there woudl be some contact in case we got abducted by aliens or something :o
