I want to try and turn the ITA aound as quickly as possible, so would appreciate any help from those of you who have been selected with a job offer.
What paperwork was requested to be sent in with the regard to the job offer?

Marcia
Gary isn't in yet but from the top of my head it was a copy of the contract, that's all we needed to show and we emailed it to NZIS. :D

From memory you need a copy of the contract, with job description, hours etc and I think you will also need either copies of qualifications OR work experience proof depending on the criteria for your job offer.
It may also be a good idea (if you already havent, and you probably have!!) to apply for your police checks as they take a long time to come through.

Thanks.
We have a copy of the job offer, and job description, but Kev can ring tonight and get them to send out a signed contract.
Police checks should be with us at the end of this month.
Got a letter from kevs old employer and all his P60's from then.
Also a character reference from the director of a company he does some work for now.
Being self employed, what else would you put in? Copies of some bills for work he has done? Maybe a letter from the company he has done a big contract for, for the last 11 years?
Already sorted full birth certificates out, marriage certificate.
Medicals will be with our own docs who are panel doctors, need to give them two weeks notice.
What else do I need to do?
- besides sell the house, pack our belongings, transfer the money from the differents pots we have everywhere, sell some shares, do the final closing accounts for kevs business!!!!!!! ok now I'm in a panic again!

When you get your ITA, there will be a list attached to the front of it.
It's a list of all the documents that you will need to send them in support of your ITA.
Every ones list is different, because every ones circumstances are different.
I don't know what you will need as far as Kevs previous work/experience is concerned, but I would imagine that you will need some kind of confirmation of his work experience (if you have claimed points for that) and maybe because he is self employed, they may ask for something from your accountant and / or statements of some kind from the company he has done the work for , for the past 11 years.........I don't know what they will want, but all I can say is that they will want written proof to substantiate your claims for points. All I can tell you is that because Steve was employed ( as opposed to being self employed) he had to supply letters from his current and previous employers stating when he worked for them, what his job title was and how many hours he worked per week. They have to know whether it was/is part or full time employment.
As far as proving your relationship/marriage is concerned, we only supplied them our marriage certificate and mortgage and bank statements for the past 2 years and they were more than happy with that. We didn't supply, nor were we asked for photographs.
Don't panic......you're doing fine and you are getting everything together.
Anything you need help with - just ask.

Yes well If you look for info on what to use as evidence of your relationship from the NZIS website it does say on there..Photographs, and I also know others that sent them in..as I did as Marcia has done and asked the same question.

Whoa Kat hang on...........
I only said that we didn't supply them and that we weren't asked for them either.
I had no intention of implying that it was unnecessary or incorrect to send photographs, neither did I mean for you or anyone else that has supplied photographs to take offence.

Marcia
We had to supply the last 2 years (I think) accounts from the accountant. If it is something that might take a while to obtain, probably best to ask for them sooner.
Good luck!

Oooooops - It seems to me like it's BIG apology time to Kat and everyone else who I've offended.
I re-read this post this morning and realised exactly how it DOES read and I promise you, it certainly wasn't intentionally written that way.
I've made a big mistake and I apologise......just goes to show how careful I must be in the future when I'm writing posts....... :o
Kat - am I forgiven ??????
