Radders

Hi,
Just a little case of nerves.
It may just be a constant stream of adrenalin, I'm not certain.
Still much packing and organising to do. No date booked for pick up. Flights are booked, friends on the ready for place to stay when we arrive in Auckland. Internal flights all booked. Financial matters over here all done, just the months wages to be added. Restaurant booked for final Friday night booze up and chow down with family. Wife UK naturalisation application not finished (you think nz immigration are slow!! Try doing it the other way at the same time!)
We've got plans upto Christmas, but then who knows. We are visiting a few places for a week at atime, just to look at prices/areas/houses/flats/jobs etc on the ground. We've got Auckland , Nelson , Christchurch , Wellington , Tauranga , New Plymouth all on our list. We will see what each has to offer hopefully!
I've been to all these places before, but at the time I was in tourist mode, so it's not the same.
It seems most of you have jobs to go to. Not sure if this is because you are all very efficient, or mainly a consequence of the new immigration process favouring people with jobs.
Although I think with 6 weeks before christmas, I will have plenty of time to set up interviews etc when I get there.
I was speaking to someone about it last night, and they seemed surprised I was going with so much up in the air.
I suppose having a kiwi wife, and having lived in Auckland for 9 months previously I'm fairly confident and not concerned about having everything sorted.
I'm just rambling really, but any thoughts would be welcome.
We have no house to sell over here, as it was always our intention to return once my course had finished and we'd saved some money up. I've always moved about, and over the last ten years, have lived in many places, so that part doesn't bother me.
I think it's just the finality. I know it's not final, we can always come back (ie wife's application for UK passport), but We have no intention of doing so, no matter what occurs over there.
