I emailed customs and a shipping company to see what paint I can ship.
This is what they said.
Paints can be treated as hazardous cargo - if they are non haz/flamable,
then yes, but we cannot accept any liability for damages if tins leak,
explode due to the pressure, etc... we would recommend they are packed by
yourselves within a very sturdy plastic container.
So, can I take your orders please............. :laugh

You never know, if she has the room you may even get a couple of litres..... :laugh

Nicola - if you like white paint - bring lots!
I dont know if its just me - but I cant seem to find big buckets of plain bog-standard white paint. Lots of off whites at astronomical prices - but white???? Forget it.

Ohhhh it would be so tempting - :laugh
Well, I have a problem now that OH won't play ball. Exploding paint tins near his tools............. not a chance! :no Even if they are in 20 very strong plastic boxes.
I now need to find out exactly the cost of paint, to see exactly how much more expensive it is over there to see exactly how much foot stomping I need to do to get my way!!!!! :D

We loaded up a large kitchen rubbish bin with tins of the stuff - still not enough for us - we should have bought so much more :wah its so expensive!!
Amongst everything else in our container with the paint was a bbq gas cannister and OH's car! Could have made a nice mess if it all went up! :laugh
