Hi Guys,
Just wanted to share this with you. On our tour to NZ last year, we found loads of great places, but one really stood out. North of Orewa on the east coast is a beach called Langs Beach. I remember it being a real job to get too and we kinda found it by accident as we headed north along the backroads to Whangerei. The road was just a gravel track !
I'll never forget it though. April, a really sunny 25 degrees, still and calm and hardly a soul on the soft white sands - it was sheer paradise. I remember looking up at houses just off the beach and thinking how lucky those people living there were. Theres a nice snack bar there too.
So check it out if you're in that area. :D

we found this place too by accident, (finner time wanted to park up and get the kettle on!) as you said wonderful beach, all the locals tow their boats down with tractors, kids riding in the boat all ready to go. And the houses up on the hill side were amazing!
