Hi guys,

I'm very confused about schools, does anyone know where I can find school zoning and also which intermediate schools feed into the secondary schools.

OMG, my head is spinning.

Thanks in advance

Dawn

Try this?
http://www.schoolzones.co.nz/

I believe that which high school your kids go to depends on which high school's zone they live in, not which intermediate school they went to.

I think it may be their website, it worked for me earlier, now it's black for me.

The written description of the Zones are still working.

If you know the schools that you are looking for, many do give the zone map on their websites..

Something like this:

Once you've looked at the zones - you might be interested in the ERO reports (equivalent to our ofsted's)

http://www.ero.govt.nz/ero/publishing.nsf/Content/Home+Page

and you can get the website/email addresses from

http://www.tki.org.nz/e/schools/

I am in the same boat as you .. slogging through information, trying to make sense of it! Figure in a few catholic schools and you REALLY end up with a headache!

I found the easiest way was to ask the real estate agent which schools were in the zone for the house.

At least that way, I narrowed it down to 2 or 3. I then checked the websites and phoned the schools and now I've made my decision, so the boys enrol on 17th July - woohoo!
