Hi everyone,
I'm sure that there have been plenty of discussions in the past about how long it takes for your ITA to show up in the mail after your EOI is selected... but if a few of you could let me know if a month or two is average or long. I'm trying to stay out off the computer and PACK:) and I could dive into searching the old forum pages for an hour easy ;)
Our EOI was selected April 26 and I was just wondering if there'd be any chance of the ITA packet arriving before we move out of our apartment in 3 weeks.
Thanks!

Theres was only 8 days between our EOI being selected and receiving our ITA. Kev, my OH who is the principal applicant has got a job offer so that may be the reason for the speed!

We were selected from the Monday 29th May 2006 Draw (Wednesday Draw was delayed to Monday due to IT problems) and we recieved our ITA by speicial delievery today!!!. So it only took 4 days, but I do have a job offer which would have speeded things up.

Hi there
We were selected on the 26th April but did'nt get our ITA until 2nd June.
We ended up phoning the London office as we had accepted an offer on our house and have a job to get to in Gisborne and were getting a little worried.
Amelia in the London office was fantastic and sorted within the day. :D

Thanks for all the help everyone. Just got off the phone with London - what lovely service!!! (granted this is from a US persepective), turns out that unless I have a job offer, my ITA wouldn't have been mailed yet. A relief to know that it wasn't lost in the mail or anything.

Just wanted to follow up to say that based on an email from London, it sounds like my ITA is in the mail. I guess they were just processing people with job offers first and then they needed to check a few details about my work history because so of the years were 2+ part time jobs that added up to a full work week but probably didn't make much sense when entered on the online form.
Thanks for everyone's posted on this one - ta, s
