Hi Matt.
I rang round when we did our meds (Jan 06) and Dr. Millions costs are about average, plus you get the xrays done at the same time which is handy.
Have pm'd you.

We are using our own docs who are panel docs in Huddersfield.
Quotes are
£120 per adult for medical and blood taking
£60 per child for medical
£55 for x-ray (10 mins away at Bupa hospital)
£80 for blood tests ( bill sent from path lab)
will let you know how it goes when we have them next week!!

Dr Million is great, and you don't feel at all nervous when you go to see him, he does really well to put you at ease

Hiya Matt
We went to Dr Ormerod - Moor Park Ave in Preston - as we couldn't be bothered driving to Manchester - think it was £240 each including blood tests , Xrays were done nearby at Fulwood Hall Hospital @ £60 each . My neighbours are emigrating to Oz & they used Dr Million in Manchester & were very pleased with him .
Staying local was a better option for us as it reduced the chance of needing a relate session :laugh :laugh (there by saving us £££££ ) - LOL driving to strange towns tends to make us cranky .....

Personally i'd recommend choosing one that can do medicals, bloods, xray in one visit, we ended up having three visits to stoke, could have done it in one visit locally, but got blinkered by the attraction of saving 50quid each, but cost us more in time in the end :uhoh

Millions for us matt - he was ok although some people find him a bit condescending...
Gets the job done though

Matt
We rang around a couple of weeks ago and found Carlisle to be the cheapest.
£90 for adult medical, £70 for child medical.
£110 for blood tests
£40 for xray
The doctor was very helpful on the phone and said he would liase with the hospital for the xrays so it could all be done on the same day.
Good luck
