We have finally been given PR, I can tell you that I feel very different about things now. We have done lots in the last week like looking at land and really thinking about settling down. So, despite everything I have said things are coming right. It also looks as though people with type 1 diabetes dont have a problem getting residency if they are in good health.
Thanks everyone for your support and also to pie eater for the chats at work and advice etc.

Congrats, Mark. I'm sorry - I can't remember what your circumstances are. From what you've said, it sounds like you've been having some second thoughts, but now that you've got PR, you've decided to go ahead?? Hope it all works out for you. Whereabouts are you heading for?

Thank you all for your kind response, its a good feeling as I am sure some of you know. I cant stress it enough though - get that PR before coming if you can. It just adds lots of stress to your life if you cant settle.
Anyway, signing off for now, thanks again
