Not sure where to post this ...
I'm sure I read somewhere if you stop long enough in Singapore while in transit on a Singapore Air flight you get a free city tour.
If so is this true. Just thinking about my flight back to the UK I've got a 4 hour wait in Singapore and I'm wondering whether to try and change flights to a day early and get a bit longer time in Singapore as I've never been before. This maybe my last flight to the UK for a while as well as it's soo expensive.
If I can't change flights can anyone tell me what there is at Singapore Airport to do for 4 hours ?

Free Singapore Tour
If you have at least five hours to spare in transit, book a free two-hour city tour that brings you around Singapore for a glimpse of what’s in store for you. Simply approach our Singapore Visitors Centres for more information. These tours are run daily at regular timings. Pre-registration is required. Choose from the following tour options:
Colonial Tour
Retrace the fascinating footsteps of Singapore’s colonial past and witness its transformation from a quaint fishing village to a bustling metropolis. See how the past links seamlessly with the future, and the old with the new, as you take a bumboat ride along the scenic Singapore River.
Cultural Tour
Experience a fascinating potpourri of sights, sounds and smells as this tour takes you to the ethnic areas of Chinatown, Kampong Gelam, Little India and Katong to learn about Singapore’s distinctive cultures and custom.
If it's possible to change your flight, I would recommend a short stay. Shopping aside, it's a melting pot of cultures, excellent food, very friendly, extremely clean and enough to keep you busy for days. My particular favourite is the Botanical Gardens - a 20 minute walk away from the bustling shopping malls, it 's an oasis of peace. Surprisingly you can't see or hear the city from within the Gardens which I find incredible. I'm flying out to NZ in August and making a point of staying over 3 nights.
If you can't change your flight then I wouldn't worry about killing time in Singapore Airport. There is loads to keep you occupied - see http://www.changiairport.com.sg/changi/en/airport_guide/exp_changi/index.html

Thanks for that guys.
Fingers crossed I can change the flight to a day earlier, although I think I may be a bit too late :( Should have thought about it earlier but I thought flying straight through would be easier.
