Hi
We will be emigrating in August to Christchurch, Would it be better to wait and buy a new phone in NZ or get one in the UK before we leave. :cheers

If possible, please buy all electronic, electrical or any other kind of gadgets before landing in NZ as they are a lot more expensive in NZ. This includes a couple of years supply of consumables like printer ink catridges, rolls for films (if you use them) etc.
If you are flying via Singapore, buying them in Sigapore rather than the UK would save you a bundle.
