Hiya,
a Question to anyone, all opinions will be welcomed.
I am planning to fly to NZ with the sole aim in finding a job after gaining Interviews with employers and agencies. OK, another aim is to sample local delicacies and have a good time for a month while away from the bread knife and pan lid.

Due to a holiday already booked for November I was going to leave the trip to NZ until the New Year. I have been told by someone to leave it until end of Jan start of Feb, no point in going in December or early Jan. So end of Jan is my preference.
Has anybody else got any opinions of when I should be looking to go?
if it helps i'll be looking for Desktop Support, systems administrator type jobs.

Hi John, from what I can gather having spoken with people out there (including my parents) you're on the right track thinking about end Jan / early Feb.

Once Andy has returned 100% to us (very jetlagged at the moment) he's going to put together a posting with his experiences of interviews / agencies etc in Chch over the last 10days. This maybe of some use to you for your trip, he's an IT Project Manager.
