We had Robinsons shipping agents (base in Manchester) round last night for a specific shipping quote. We were impressed and he seemed to know what he was talking about. Has anyone used Robinsons? Any comments?

Thanks

No - but would be interested in their quote when you get it ...

We've used them, but as our stuff has not yet got to NZ i can't comment any more.....

it looks like they did a good job of packing though, although to my mind they could have made better use of the spaces, if you know what I mean, considering they all thought it would be a very tight fit to get it all into the container.

We have a leaflet of them, A friend is moving to America he has been told they are really good. We hoping to move to Christchurch in August we got a quote from John Mason they are based in Liverpool but came out to see us in Bury Nr Manchester. For a 20ft container we are looking at £2300, Which we dont think is that bad

We used them to move our stuff from the UK to Perth (Oz), it all arrived intact - and they packed & wrapped very efficiently at the UK end - we had no problems at all - & we decided to bring our piano at the last minute & they didn't charge any extra as there was some spare room in the container - very professional job - I'd recommend them!
